I'm Zelkova!!

My pronouns are He/Him. I'm an adult. My birthday is September 12th. My MBTI is INFJ.

I am a writer & comic artist. This is a website (mostly) dedicated to my art, writing projects, and characters. You can learn more about them on the 'Projects' page.

The little guy on the left (and throughout the rest of the site) is my character, Aster. He is basically my mascot at this point, lol.

I like making friends with fellow creatives, but am a little shy. B);; Feel free to reach out, is all I'm saying.



Art Tools

I use a Surface Pro 7 and Clip Studio Paint; a lot of older work on here was drawn using Paint Tool Sai 2.

Other Stuff

I like hiking and cycling. The picture on the right is of a hike with my dog, Sophie. If you click on it, I have a little page here just for her. :)

During the winter when it's too cold to exist outside, I like playing JRPGs. I feel very strongly about people playing Persona 2. (Well. Don't play it, actually. Watch a Let's Play instead.)

My internet handle comes from the very cool species of tree (but also, the .hack character actually).

    I do not have a fancy Internet Manifesto, but if you dislike the Current State of the Web, I really recommend Pillowfort.social. It is a social network, rather than social media. It's the only website that never makes my brain feel like it's on fire. It could REALLY use your support.

    It currently only has a very small active userbase, and yet I am emphatically recommending it anyway. I hope my passion for its success speaks for itself. You won't get Big Numbers from Pillowfort, but you might have fun there, if you put the time into it!
